You know I am now realizing alot of people do not know how to power scale in the youtube community. The fact that people still place katakuri above king and lucci is stupid. Now let me explain it.
1. Kat has 0 way of damaging king. People like kol and brago lie and says that Kat with future sight could predict when kings flame is off and attack and that he has avdnacee coA. But here's the problem a). Internal damage (which Kat lacks) doesn't work on lunarians. This was shown when lucci used rokogun and luffy uses kong gun with advanced ryou and it still did 0 damaged to the seraphim (made from kings dna) who had their flame on. We also know that future sight won't work since Kat fought luffy for hours and could not even detect that his sister was attacking luffy with special bullets while he was also fighting him. Kats future sight also could not help him predicting Ceasars clowns gas that is now making him attack oven since both oven and Kat now believe that the other one is the enemy based on the gas lol.
2. Luffys base stats in base are vastly higher than what they were in wci and even wano. Yet a luffu with that high of a base stat still had to resort to using g5 on lucci. This was double down when luffy while using g4 was compared to lucci using REGULAR hybrid form with both using their internal destruction moves (kong gun from luffy and rokogun from lucci) to attack the seraphim. And future sight luffy still had to be told by zoro the actual weakness of the seraphim since future sight can't give you info on something you do not know lol
3. King has a speed form which increases his speed above kats.
4. Moochi by its nature is weak to fire hence why when Kat fires of his burning moochi he separates that part of the moochi from the rest of his body since fire HARDENS moochi.
5. Kats awakening can't help since king is all fire/lava in terms of ability and even has the ability to explode if touched as shown in his fight with zoro.
6. Even outside of flame on, king is naturally durable due to him being an ancient zoan who's durability is higher than regular loans as stated by law. There recoverability is also better in comparison to regular zoans.
7. And lastly there is nothing in Kats arsenal that has the AP to put king down. He lacks internal destruction ryou that won't even work if kings flame is on. Future sight users like Kat are unable to pick up on small details hence why even for hours he could not pick up that his sis was also attacking luffy so he won't pick up that 0 fire means no invincible durability. If his awakening moochi grabs king he can simply blow it up. And Kat doesn't even have zoros level of AP nor does he have advanced coc

Did Luffy have to use a g5 or did he want to use it? There's a significant difference, Lucci doesn't even have the feat to show that he can force the g5 to a low difference.
G5 luffy neg diff > lucci awakening
Luffy's peak is a combination of G5 and acoc, he used nothing but armament haki against Lucci.
G5 luffy didn't have any difficulties but you claim that he needed g5, the difference was huge, this difference clearly showed that luffy didn't need g5,

What is the purpose of making the connection between seraphim and lucci? The Seraphim are invincible as long as their flames are not extinguished, there is a reference to the fact that the kaido did not collapse despite being attacked a lot. As long as their flame is not extinguished, they can't do damage to the Seraphims no matter who strikes them, and as I said, Base Luffy has shown feats that are far superior to Lucci's awakening form
