The robot goes into some stronger "overheat mode", allowing him to fend off Warcury and Peter, and as the Thousand Sunny lands on the viking ship, Luffy punches Saturn back to Egghead with the rest of the Gorosei.
Meanwhile Mars manages to fly back to Egghead just in time to see Peter and Warcury fighting with the robot, and Nusujuro lands nearby to help Peter and Warcury. The marines then begin chasing the Straw Hats and as they get far enough away, Emeth self-destructs, actually killing the Gorosei in the most anti-climatic way possible, making their appearance utterly pointless and ruining any hype they had and also killing all the frozen pacifista in the process which also killed any point they had.
And the Gorosei's only purpose in the end was to foreshadow how indestructible Imu's immortality is and the only way to kill him is with a spirit bomb sized explosion. Cue the waves of debate and disappointment over no actual Gorosei fights.
