I just find it boring. His attacks so far are "throw magma" or "throw magma yet again but change how it looks a little bit obviously not enough to make amy significant change tho". It's so... boring and blant

Honestly, Ice is more generic and so is light. However, Oda handled both the ice and the light fruit much better than the magma fruit. Ice compliments Kuzan perfectly and his moves are magestic. Light compliments Kizaru in a troll yet badass way.

If a magma fist didn't work, throw more or maybe shape it as a dog. How does that change the attack itself? No fucking clue. Akainu is the embodiment of "if it didn't work once, I'll try again with the same shit".
