While most fandom is focused on Elbaf being very important narrative and lore wise due to all the hype, many factions being tied to it and being introduced so late in the series, one thing is for certain, Oda has planned Elbaf for the longest time. It is mostly going to be an adventure centric arc with a shit ton of lore drop. It will not be as battle focused as Wano for example.
On weekly basis it will be hard to digest the pacing but as an adventure arc it will be well worth it. I cannot imagine reading Skypea on a weekly basis being as enjoyable as it actually is when you look at the whole story.

first we had the numerous duval/road parallels https://worstgen.alwaysdata.net/forum/threads/duval-road-parallels-are-insane.61846/
now this:
on the archipeligo, the crew encountered the pacifista, world government robots looking like kuma. they thought he was the real one, a warlord.
now on elbaf, the crew will encounter a god's knight, looking like shanks, another member of the balance of power: an emperor.
the real kuma showed up later aswell. the real shanks will probably also come back to elbaf!
