Imo the big names at Roger’s each have a unique scar with important significance to who they became

Starting with doffy
While we never outright saw his left eye I think there are pretty good clues that indicate doffy has a scar on his left eye or that it’s deadass gone. It likely being when he was tortured and hung up as a kid. That being a significant moment in making him who he is

Mihawk probably has a scar on his back during the time he faced he faced his great betrayal/defeat
Him either literally being unexpectedly backstabbed or was too weak at that point in time and decided to try and escape. Making him even more amazed zoro’s drive and refusal to turn and run despite being literal fodder to him

Whitebeard has the scar on his face and a missing hand. We don’t know if he got both at the same time but he definitely got one of them when he decided to go after whitebeard. With him like mihawk also going through some betrayal we don’t know who exactly did it but either way the the moment is obviously very significant to him

Gecko Moria obviously has his big ass scar going across his neck. Him getting it during his defeat to kaido and the beast pirates

Shanks getting his most important scar against teach obviously

The symbol on dragons face it either being a tattoo or his face deadass getting branded might be his scar. With him more likely than not being the man with the burn scar
Could be a coincidence but

1. Black ship
2. Weather control
3. Worked with the world government
4. All black ship

As for buggy he can’t be scarred because he’s too strong…and the chop fruit
Tho you argue he was scared emotionally by shanks saying he wasn’t going for the one piece now


Also with doffy is the only one not to get a scar after Roger’s death (besides buggy) and was arguably the 3rd most successful and influential of the group

Buggy nose is a fake one after he lost it to Shanks and made him a 1 nostril human. He covers it up with a clown nose.

Sure, the Worlds Strongest Swordsman will have a scar on his back, a swordsman's shame, and Zoro never noticed while fighting the guy who walks around without a shirt on during his first fight with Zoro. Cause that makes sense right?

Nah but for real, the idea of Mihawk having a back scar is fucking dumb. Even if Mihawk was LITERALLY back-stabbed, Oda does not hand out scars like this. Whitebeard got literally pierced through by Squardo and yet Oda pretend he had no scars on his back with Whitebeard. The Strongest Man. But sure, the strongest SWORDSman will have a shameful scar on his back!
