🤔 have you ever wondered who all where the supernova when Shanks started his solo pirate career i believe i have the answer

Well lets ask ourselves what makes a supernova the answer

Having a bounty of 100 million or more before entering the new world

Which automatically eliminates Boa and Crocodile from the running who both became warlords at a bounty of 80 and 81 million respectfully

So of course the obvious answers are Shanks and Mihawk

Both extremely powerful pirates whose duels shook the new world it's safe to say both of them had bounties that qualified them for supernova status

Okay who else qualifies?

Definitely Moriah his frozen bounty was 320 Million and he clashed with the yonko kaido so I believe he was definitely a supernova during this era


Another candidate I believe was a super nova Is Doflamingo who had a frozen bounty of 340 Million is an extremely powerful and well connected pirate and definitely had a 100 million beli bounty before reaching the new world

Jinbe~ is also a candidate but im not 100% sure because he immediately got offered the war lord position when he got the bounty increase to 250 so I'm not sure if he was one

So for the supernova of Shanks era I believe it's

Moriah

Croco doesn´t have a 100 million bounty because when Oda made Alabasta, Bounties weren´t supposed to be that high. Same thing happened with Dorry and Broggy where their bounties were also by current standards, really low. Robin too, with her being an infamous international criminal with only 79 million. But the ¨supernova¨ at the time were just the guys at the Roger execution

Doflamingo: Has been a pirate for years at this point, was doing terrorist shit in the north blue, destroying towns for minor reasons like laughing at his crew, knows the WG´s secrets. Would later go on to become a warlord and run the black market, didn´t try challenging the Yonko though
Buggy: for whatever reason, was taken on Rogers crew and now could have been a big player, but ended up in the east blue bullying random towns people
Mihawk: strongest swordsman, but ended working for the WG, lost interest in piracy it seems like
Croco: really wanted the OP, but was betrayed and lost hard to WB, decided to work for the WG until he could get ancient weapons
Moria:Ambitious but lost to Kaido, ended up working for the WG
Shanks: Obvious
Dragon: not a pirate, but was a rebel and likely had a large bounty
