Do you think in the climax of this fight, we’ll get a nine v one where the pre timeskip straw hats will be facing down Kaido?

Reasoning for possibility:

1. Nine Shadow Prophecy

2. Odens words about 9 people muscling their way into the new world only apply to the straw hats (he mentioned 20 years and these will be the central figures of the final war, no offense to Kid and Law but neither of them fit that Bill)

Not to mention since it seems like we won’t be getting one v one fights in wano giving our characters a chance to showcase their fighting as a team and we’ll get the long awaited straw hat focus.

• All SHs will definitely fight Kaido, why would Jinbe not join the fight, especially in their 1st major post-TS tag battle together?
• It is not yet certain what the prophecy means, it can still be figurative or it can pertain to groups and not individuals
  • Can't be the SHs since they're 10 in total
  • Can just mean the Scabbards since they're still one of the catalysts of this war
  • Can symbolize the Worst Generation present in the war, right now there are 8 present, 9th can be Bege, Urouge or even BB
  • Can also symbolize 9 groups who oppose Kaido and Orochi

The thing with the nine is that Oden mentioned a group of pirates that’ll muscle their way into the new world in 20 years.

The worst Gen doesn’t work for this. Reminder most of them entered the new world 18 years after oden died, not 20.

Jinbe I can see holding someone back to keep the fight from being interrupted while the other nine fight Kaido. Since he didn’t muscle his way into the new world twenty years ago.

I don’t think there’s any chance it can mean orochi at this point. Orochi has now died about 6 times. And not once was he fought by nine individuals.

The prophecy means that nine will show the moon a glorious dawn. Kaido hasn’t seen this yet and the scabbards don’t seem to be fighting him again.

I see no reason not to. A prophecy is a plot device after all. It’s used to create excitement for an event to occur.

Out of story, Why would Oda write a prophecy if he didn’t expect it to be completed.

Not sure about it. Some of the Straw Hats have really hard battles ahead of them. Chopper's Monster Point will leave him immobile for a while once it runs out and I expect him to have performed some more by then (vs Numbers atleast). Franky's cola will run out but he'll still be able to move, I guess. Overall, I can see one or two Straw Hats heading up but I'm not sure about all 9 of them.

At this stage I seriously doubt.

The others will meanwhile most likely focus on their concurrent enemies and eventually Kaido shall be defeated only a bit later they finish their jobs, but in general I expect possibly everyone to be substantially tired by then anyway and wait for the end.
