General & Others The straw hats were better when they didnt know their place

Now they all know their place, the hierarchy is static, nothing changes in their dynamic, strongest keep being the strongest, weakest stay being the weakest with the exception of Nami who Oda gives favoritism to

It doesn't matter how.much time passes, one piss could go on for 50 years and the straw hats will always be the same

That's why they are so predictable and boring

When did we not know the hierarchy? The Monster Trio was set up as early as Alabasta. And Usopp has always been the weakest crew mate. Everyone else can move around. That hasn't changed.

Fuck no, Hachi has shown during his Cover Story that he was Second only to Arlong. Dirt Monkey
Kuroobi also has the second highest bounty in the crew.

Chew > Hachi is probably controversial, but I think people underestimate Chew because Usopp beat him. But Hachi would have also lost to Usopp's hit and run strategy since (1) Hachi is slower than Chew and (2) Hachi is way dumber than Chew. Although Hachi does have the higher bounty of two and he's the one Zoro fought, so those are some points for Hachi > Chew.

No, if he was, Kuroobi would have escaped the marines
Kuroobi is less important plot wise because he is evil unlike Hachi who is more sympathetic but that doesn’t change the fact that Hachi is weaker.

also Fishman swordsmanship is straight up so ass the Worlds Strongest Fish Swordsman is Fkn Hyouzou. Meanwhile Fishman Karate’s ceiling is guys like Hack, Jinbei and Fisher Tiger.

It still doesn't change the fact there was a clear Hierarchy even early in One Piece.

No one can move around and I'd argue Robin was arguably as strong or stronger than Zoro and Sanji in Alabasta

But thats besides the point,

Zoro put his dream first now he puts luffys dream first and everything having to do with his dream is secondary at best

Usopp used to have ambition he wasn't content with just being the weakest in the crew, he wanted to be captain

Robin had dreams of discovering the lore of the world now she falls asleep when Vegapunk reveals the lore of the world

I can keep going but the crew now understand that Luffy overtakes all their dreams, he comes first zoro and sanji come second and the rest fall into their respective hierarchy, they are just static luffy cheerleaders

They hardly even have personality anymore
