Powers & Abilities The strawhats should have started to develop their haki between WCI and Wano.

Like the title says Brook, Robin, Franky, and Ussop should have learned about a started to develop their haki between the end of Zou and before Luffy and the others get to Wano for Robin, Franky, and Ussop, and after WCI for Brook on the way to Wano.
We know there was about a little over a month maybe a month and a half between the end of Zou and Luffy getting to Wano. In that time is when they should have been training.

Off screen training is not a bad thing as long as it makes sense for the characters, after Luffy, Sanji, and Brook see first hand the true power of a Yonko and knowing they are going to confront another one, it would make more sense for them to train, Luffy even does with his advanced CoO.

As for Robin, Franky, and Ussop they are in Wano preparing, that should have included training along side their jobs recruiting and getting closer to the Shogun. Usopp awakens his Haki in Dressrosa and doesn't wonder at all about it?

They can get haki, but they have to get into death battles, many times to awaken haki, which they do not want to. They lack willpower for it.

They lack oda caring about them

If you think about it you can realize that it's the monster trios fault they don't have haki.

Sanji awakened haki by running away away from gay people, so by that logic Usopp should have gotten it from running away from man eating plants.

Luffy learned it from Raleigh, so by that logic Robin should have learned haki from Sabo or Dragon but ....

They didn't bc if they did, how would Oda draw the cool wings of the pirate king trio walk in FMI, how would people know they are still the strongest.

Only Luffy and Zoro and Jinbe can come close to Franky's willpower. No other SH has remotely near feats of Will Power
at 8 years old robin got a bounty of 79m, she had the willpower to survive all the time (by herself)
only at the age of 24 did she join crocodile

Brooks willpower to not just jump into the water after 50 years of being alone

Franky brook and robin should have came out of the time skip with the basics for 1 haki type. By the end of dressrosa the weak trio should have at least unlocked a type of haki. By the wano all the sh's should have been solid with at least 1 haki type with Franky brook and robin unlocking the other type they didn't have. Oda made haki such a huge deal be refuses to give his main characters it outside of the M3. At some point they have to learn the ability and the longer oda puts it off the bigger ass pull it's going to seem.

Why wait so long? The sabaody reunion was the proper time.

Luffy zoro and sanji should have immediately said

"Do any of you know haki? Because YOU NEED IT! its completely game changing and has exponentially made us stronger than we were"

Then they should have explained haki "symptoms" in case any of them unlock it later (i.e. ussopp) so they will at least know what to look out for.

Isn't haki the very first think reyliegh taught luffy? I know luffy is some shade of mentally challenged but even he should know better and zoro and sanji have no excuse.
