A thought just occurred to me, what if there were a couple of powerful celestial dragons as powerful as Admirals/Yonko but were not shown as they are hiding their power?

And I don’t mean the 5 elders here but Doflamingo showed us that when a celestial dragon trains he actually becomes powerful and they all have the potential for CoC haki since they descended from the 20 royals that fought and defeated Joy Boy 800 years ago.

I don’t think that Imu is some figure who lived for a 1000 years but is basically the strongest celestial dragon ascending to the throne and I think the reason he’s silhouetted is because he will be introduced as one of the world nobles sometime during the early phases of the final saga and he could be as old as Luffy

I'm of the mindset the Gorosei have their position not because of intellectual competence, but because they're very powerful. Why else give evil ghandi the badass sword?

I think Imu will most likely have:
Busted as hell CoC
And some busted Devil Fruit, like the Ocean Fruit, or Blood Fruit.

To rule the One Piece world, what must you rule? The Ocean itself.

Isn't it convenient, how a Water Logia has never even been discussed?

It's almost like the EXISTENCE OF A WATER LOGIA HAS BEEN ERASED FROM HISTORY ITSELF

I think Imu is a dinosaur from 800 years ago.So he should have everything:crazy base stats,rokushiki mastery,weapon mastery,marksmanship mastery,devil fruit awakening(water logia),all forms of advanced haki,some supreme grade blackned weapon and of course the immortality surgery.Maybe some ancient weapon as trump card.

Yeah, I just can't see Garp allowing the WG to be this corrupt unless Imu is some overpowered freak.

I hope the gorosei aren’t actual born as celestial dragons, and they’re people throughout history who’ve proven themselves strong allies of the world government and have been gifted immortality. For example, if he was more pro world government, Garp may have been a future Gorosei because of his fights against Rox and roger

My guess were they were generals/ministers/what have you of the original kings who were made immortal to safeguard their lieges' legacy.
