While the common perception is that the VAs are a group of weaklings, there have always been a handful of VAs who stood out from this bunch. By portrayal:
  • VA borsalino
  • VA kuzan
  • VA sakazuki
  • Garp
  • Tsuru
Look no further than the O’Hara incident to see the difference in strength between the average VAs and the top.

That was true in the past and I see no reason why it shouldn’t be true now.

Much like the young admirals, I believe we will meet VAs this arc with top tier DFs. In Wano you had an odd parallel between King and Kaido. Their powers were very similar.

King’s DF and fire abilities were weaker than Kaido’s but his defense was greater.

imo something similar will be true with the top VA and Kizaru.

Oda will introduce more logias and high end paramecias just for these top VAs in order for them to be a suitable matchup for the SHs.

What was impressive about the VA's on Ohara? Akainu ordering cannons to destroy a ship? Aokiji freezing a giant? I don't get the VA wank, they've done nothing impressive and the trio Admirals could've easily gotten a hundred times stronger in the decades since, I mean we've seen the SH's get stronger than that in a fraction of the time.

Vergo and Smoker already showed good haki.

The way i see it Marines have proper training, no way they're going to be lacking at Haki anyhow. But yes Admirals Dfs have been great, i expect Oda going same route for strong VAs, though I'm really not expecting much this arc. I'm not expecting 1 vs 1 fights.

I do hope Oda hype the VAs here, they might make up matches for Weak SHs or SH Grandfleet in the final war,
