Post Timeskip was absolute dogshit lets be honest here if you enjoyed that shitshow you probably don't take showers.

Even in pretime skip One Piece is very boring and too goofy. Even the good arcs are pretty boring and doesn't get exciting until Water 7, Enies Lobby, Sabaody, Impel Down, and Marine ford which are the only real good arcs in the series.

The rest of the arcs you have to be a real fan of one piece to appreciate.

Postimeskip sucked and completely cemented One Piece's spot outside the top 5. Horrendous arcs like Fishman Island, Punkhazard, Wano, and boring Zou doesn't help with the slow pacing and the constant running from big mom and getting caught.

Whole Cake and Wano had some good moment but were overshadowed by the garbage pacing and random shitty twist, offscreens, and shitty power scaling

I guess haki and strength just randomly disappear as Franky a non-haki user can knock over Big Mom but Luffy's haki'd up fist can't? It's mind boggling.

Dont share all the same reasons as why with you but gotta agree, that if what One Piece, specially post time skip, is counts as a "top 5 manga" it's a sad state for sure😂
I hope that there are many unknown small manga that never get translated that are actually meaningful and that just endless mysterybait hype vehicles that disappoint at the end aren't the "peak fiction" of it.
That would be as sad as Harry Potter being part of "the top five of literature"😂

One piece still top 5 manga in terms of storytelling and world building even top 3 . And that is one piece main elements. Pre time skip was peak but oda dealing with small world. just shs. But oda had to introduce all of side characters into one piece at post timeskip . bigger world bigger problems.

yeah you can have a discussion but if the discussion becomes just "I like this aspect of the arc thats why I don't think it's boring" and he says "but that stuff doesn't make it exciting" then I "for me it does" then it goes around a circle, only way the discussion really is becomes worthwhile/interesting isif one of us change opinion on the arc I will never think arlong arc is boring, I understand that people can think anything is boring for any reason but boring is very subjective criticism that people can disagree or agree with.
