Im certain im not the first or only one to notice this but have you ever noticed all the warlords Luffy has defeated has foreshadowed imu in one way or another don't believe me lets break it down

So far Luffy has defeated 3 warlords
Crocodile, Moriah and Doflamingo in that order so I'll break down how each of them foreshadows imu

Crocodile - This one is Via the Nefetari connection Vivi was a major factor in Crocodiles defeat in that she recruited Luffy and the strawhats to help her take him down if you remember Lili was the one who spread the Poneglyphs around the world, which just so happens the first Poneglyph we discover was in Alabasta and Vivi the descendant of Lili recruits Luffy the reincarnation of Joyboy who seemingly was friends with Lili

Moriah- How does Moriah foreshadow imu you ask well think about their abilites Moriah is able to take a persons shadow and put it in a corpse and has full command of that zombie Moriah is also able to separate his shadow from himself allowing his shadow to act independently from his main body, now is it me or does that sound like a much weaker version of some of the abilities Imu has demonstrated first there's Domi Reversi which is an ability that allows Imu to transform his victims into mind controlled slaves and he also has the ability to pretty much remote into people with his mark on them and act separately from his main body which is a stronger version of what Moriah can do.

Doflamingo- I think anyone whose been paying attention knows Doffy is just a baby Imu from being a celestial dragon to the structure of his crew Dressrosa was a small scale version of what imu has been doing for 800 erasing history and rewriting memories just to keep power and control a puppet master with the world dancing in his hands

And thats how the warlords luffy has defeated foreshadows imu

Im sure the ones he bought to his side foreshadows Joyboy in some way but thats a post for when we learn more about Joyboy

Interesting thoughts and I low key agree with these three, but how would you say the rest of the warlord fit in that position ? Jinbe for ex or Hancock

You clearly has no idea what foreshadowing means. But anyway. Only Doffy one makes sense.
The literal definition no not off the top of my head but I always took it to mean

Hints at or Sets up a future event or character

🤔 I can kinda see how the Moriah one might be a bit of a stretch but honestly crocodile one makes just as much sense as the dotfy one if you ask me

Foreshadow is when you could go back into story and see how an event was told to be happen already.

For example, take JJK S3 finale. At the end of the fight and the guy is trying to figure how Yuta copied the power of the dead girl and used to finish him. We can clearly see that his summon eating the girl arm and his hand sign foreshadowing the final attack of the fight.

Although Luffy didn't beat Mihawk, he still fought him and didn't lose,

So Mihawk can join this list also:
