So we know what it took for Luffy to unlock advanced conqueror's haki. He had to take Ragnaraku right to the face.

Withstanding this attack is what allowed Luffy to learn that you can coat your attacks with adv. Coq.

And guess what just happened to Kid in the most recent chapter. That's right, he just took an advanced conqueror's attack right to the face.
So I wouldn't be surprised if Kid learns to use this special ability that only a handful of the strongest can use now that he's felt Kamusari, just like Luffy did in the rooftop.

Maybe this is the reason why Oda never had Big Mom use her advanced conqueror's in her fight with Kid. Because he would've learned this technique too early in the story.

So don't be surprised if Kid stands back up in a few chapters with a new weapon, just like Luffy did in his fight with Kaido.
And this is why this was a good chapter for Kid.

Indeed they cant compare. One is the queen of the people who will help Luffy bring the dawn, the other is the protector on Wano, where the Dawn will be recognized first.

While Kid is an example of what going after the PK title unprepared can do to you.

Their story importance cannot be compared, since the two furries still have a future.

I dont disagree that theyre trash characters.

Still stands that Zou has a lot more lore to give us and Carrot will tag along since she leads the people living on it.

And Pluton is in Wano, whose protector is Yamato.

Kid was one of five candidates for PK. He is done for. Law is done for as well. Soon Shanks will be too. Only Luffy and BB will fight it out.
Kids role has been fulfilled. He can return as an ally, but he has no more relevance to the overall story.
