So, looks like Zoro will fulfill his destiny as a new sword god and protector of Wano after all, but not by killing Kaido (it's over, the chances right now are 0%) but by protecting Wano from the WG which was arguably a much bigger feat by the original sword god Ryuma (between killing some random dragon and protecting the land from world's most powerfull military force, come on, you know it is). With the info we got from the latest spoiler update, CP0 is still after Robin and Greenbull is on his way to Wano. Ryuma was also name dropped a few times with the "sword god" epithet. If this isn't a build up for Zoro doing something great in the next few chapters, I don't know what it is. And to be honest, it's a much better development for Zoro's character than him killing Kaido. If ZKK squad was right in one thing, it is that Zoro ain't done yet ;)
