I think regardless of the fact Teach nearly killed her, Hancock could still be an ACoC user. Ultimately, Hancock is a CoC user and her crew is known for being strong haki users. ACoC is simply using ryuo, but with CoC instead of CoA. I feel like especially given how we've yet to see Hancock use CoC so far, there's a decent chance she could be an ACoC user.
The thing about her portrayal against Teach is that being defeated by a yonko or an admiral doesn't necessarily make you weak. We've seen enough high tiers get stomped by top tiers to know that this is true.
In Hancock's case at least, it seems as if she was cheap shot. She was focused on the marines and while she was fighting them, Teach cheap shotted her and took her powers.
"But why didn't she resist with haki?"
I mean Teach had her by the neck. Assuming she has ACoC, she could still be killed by a critical blow, like a gura slam to the neck..
Teach's raw strength is insane. Coupled with the gura, you're kinda fucked if he gets a hold of you, even if you have some advanced haki.
Ultimately, I don't think that Hancock having ACoC is outside the realm of possibility, given her portrayal. Her bounty is 1.6 billion, significantly higher than those of the YC1. This would at least warrant her having some special power outside merely having a strong DF. Kid and Law having awakening, Kata has FS, and King is a lunarian with powerful CoA.
The entry level to have ACoC isn't that high. Yamato had it and she arguably had worse AP than rooftop Zoro. Therefore, is it really hard to believe Hancock has low level ACoC?
imo, until we actually see her in a decent fight(not merely getting cheap shot), I think the possibility is completely open.
