Chapter Discussion This chapter is magic

I don't like Mihawk fans, not because Mihawk is a bad character, but because Mihawk fans are usually just here to be hypercritical and aura farm. They represent an undesirable part of the fandom, and in-fact they display anti-fan behavior frequently.

Am I demonizing them? No, they demonized themselves. They wanted the attention, it's just negative attention.

"You try to claim the strongest swordsman in the world is, in fact, the strongest among swordsmen currently? Hypocritical."

Nobody likes them. Because they're dishonest and their adulation and praise is completely hollow. Let's be honest, are there any Mihawk glazers are out there that aren't just Zoroach fanboys buttering him up? There's undoubtedly lots of Shanks fans who like Shanks for who he is completely unrelated to his standing relative to any other character. Are there Mihawk fans out there that desperately want him to beat Zoro and not take the L?

We all know the answer to that.

The arm thing is meaningless, Mihawk was just trolling him.

irl, Shanks got significantly stronger after losing his arm. We know this because he defeated Loki 6 years ago and became yonko, despite Loki seemingly being stronger 14 years ago.
They'll call you a One Piece Scholar, in derogatory manner, for suggesting Shanks didn't lose power from losing an arm.

Databooks don't mean nothing

That's because Shanks got his plot driven after 20+ years while Mihawk only got a few hints of his backstory, like literally before Shanks defeating Kidd or his talk with Gorosei, All we knew was he is a yonko, had legendary duel with Mihawk clashing WB and Kaido, had a vendetta against BB and stopping the war. Mind u Nami of all people didn't even knew much about Shanks and his fame.
And about stopping the war recently it is most likely because He is a former Celestial Dragon.
While Mihawk only got, He had Legendary Duel with Shanks and then become WSS, He was once called Marine Hunter because of things in the past, got 3.59 with his strength alone and apparently after this event he wants to live in peace who is almost every strongest character in anime done that after achieving his/her dream.
There is also the thing with his eyes, but we can only speculate on that. Shanks got the same mystery as Mihawk, but Shanks is now the one who got the plot driven character first.
So its hypocrisy to call only Mihawk fans that didn't care about his story when we didn't get his plot driven story yet

You can say that about any fandom

All you really did though was state your opinion

Pretty vain if you ask me. Petty. It comes across as aggressive and strange. I'd love to talk about Mihawk, but I can't because I'll get called a bad word for not being in total agreement. Whatever to that.
Same can be said with Shanks stans who doesn't respect Mihawk's title. In the first place, Zoro fans and Mihawk fans wouldn't become toxic if not for the Shanks fans who are toxic for not accepting Mihawk's title, and in retaliation they'd be called anti-fan?

We all know the answer to that.
Then you clearly don't understand Mihawk's character. He himself want Zoro to beat him. How can someone call themselves Mihawk fans and then not want Mihawk to be defeated by Zoro?

Also, Mihawk is all about being the WSS. It's impossible not see him where he stands relative to other swordsmen in the manga.

I am a Mihawk fan first, before Zoro. Tbh, I don't like Zoro that much compared to how I like Mihawk.

Always pointing fingers to rationalize this.
- I've never said I liked Shanks, but Mihawk fans start arguments with me for even mentioning him, and then blame me for them starting arguments.
