I think it’s pretty telling that even those that defend it are hoping that it doesn’t last and it switches up to serious for very end.
That just shows that no one can pretend not to know what is wrong with the fight continuing that way.
It’s just that some people are overcompensating because they don’t like it being called trash by so many others.
I don’t think more than just a very small handful would ever claim this is better than the climax of Luffy’s other arc ending fights.
I also just laugh at those claiming “oh, but he’s really dying” as if that can be taking seriously when he’s talking about how fun it is.

I want these fanboys to understand something, how did this arc start? Gives you a hint on how things will end.
So no my Nika, One Piece can be goofy at times, but it always had serious themes in it... One is Death. Hmm I believe Wano has talked about death the most... Maybe Oda is telling us something
