Future Events Thoughts on 1+ year long prequel arc without Straw Hats?

What are the odds of this happening?

A long flashback arc where we see Ancient Kingdom thriving and all races living together in harmony before their demise. The life of original Joyboy, Imu and what caused the Great War and Void Century. Then, Old Wano and Ryuma, God Valley, Dragon-Akainu, Blackbeard-Shanks and finishing the arc with clearing the plot holes.

Sounds like it will take more than a year to cover everything that happened in the past.

It won't happen in one go because if it does we would be left with only fight scenes and runpiece
The fodder knights are portrayed as the revos's equals so I doubt they can just be that important plot wise and lore wise , they are built to get offpaneled, the seraphims are just clones so who are the new major characters? shiki?

That would be absolute dogshit, frankly. That's, like, 4x longer than Oden Piece, dude. A year long lore dump sounds like an absolute snoozefest. And all of it would be better served being flashed back to at points when its actually relevant. Who gives a shit about the Dragon-Akainu parts of the flashback when we cut back to the present and both of them are still sitting at their desks twiddling their thumbs.

oda would make it basically be a goofy 2.0 situation.

That woulf be fucking insufferable as a 1 year/35 chapter long flashback.

We already have enough rubber shit.


The rest could be good.

But oda will just put those flashbacks in when they are relevant. So no chance of getting them all at once.

We can’t even get more than 1 or 2 chapters a month and you think Oda will commit to this? Best case scenario is they do a movie highlighting the pivotal moments from the century but an entire arc is impossible at this point, Oda is moving extremely slow with his drawing, and I understand why, so there’s no way we’re getting that.
