Something like 70% of Japanese men in their 20s AND 30s (this is noteworthy because the west only really has a loneliness epidemic under 30 at least right now) have straight up checked out of dating and relationships. There’s even a specific word for them.

A big part of this is also that prostitution and sex work are legal in Japan and aren’t considered cheating for some reason.
Straight up HALF of Japanese men age 20-49 admit (key word here is admit) to using prostitutes:

I wonder if all this nonsense would eventually lead to somewhat of an overcorrection in a few decades, to the early 20th century societies.
Don't know, AI is too much of a wild card at this point as well, AI could maybe make population collapse sustainable. I guess we will all be farming and bartering in like 40 years lol, if we even have any land.
