Character Discussion Thoughts on IMU’s Character? Do you like Him/Her?

We’ve hardly seen anything yet. So far, I do like what they represent. The World Government has always been the overarching antagonist of the series, and that’s embodied in Imu.
- mysterious powers that upend all that we’ve seen so far
- having a hand in almost every major conflict in the series
- overwhelming force
- ruthlessness in dealing with foes
Besides the dull silhouette business and the forced stupidity caused by the Nika retcon, there’s not been much to complain about so far.

The only negatives are;
—Lack of a character design, in a visual medium this is imperative in communicating who & what a character is all about.
—Lili gooning. This can be a misunderstanding from the audience or genuine, given Shakky exists.
Besides that I’m neutral to slightly positive on Imu. They got potential to check off a lot of boxes for me, character wise. Oda just needs to show us their design and characterize them more. The latter won’t be an issue once the flashback ends

I find this character boring so far. The lack of clear design and the quite frankly comical silhouette is visually unappealing.
