Questions & Mysteries Thoughts on Luffy vs Kaido?

Honestly the fight should have been the 5vs 3 we saw at the begenning. But extended until Luffy get the as strong as when he takes over from Yamato. You have a nice fight where the supernovas help each other weaken the yonkos instead of Yamato we barely know.

Then they get seperated like we saw in the fight with Law and Kid take on Mom in the lower floors, Luffy take on Kaido like we saw. But we skip the one extra loss and skipped battle we dont need. And it feels more earned when we see Luffy working with his peers intead of get his ass handed and suddenly be better when he return.

Mention Luffy trained for awakening with Kidd (while he taught kidd some conqueror techniques) so it doesnt come from nowhere and dont rename the fruit.

And let some goddamn pass after Luffy is defeated so we can feel some despair for the people instead of him instantly being up.

Not a Yonkou fan, and the entire fight I was cheering for Kaidou. This one image clearly shows you how much of a better leader Kaidou was to Guffy, Law, and Kid:

The fight itself, mainly because of G5, was tooo streched out.
G4 vs Kaido was the peak of the fight. It was intense and fast paced.
G5 was pointless imo. It was too cartonish. Bajran Gun was a XXL version of G3 so nothing new.

Luffys Gears were also confusing me.
Like base Luffy fights equally with Kaido. G2/G3 fights equally with Kaido. G4 fights equally with Kaido. G5 fights equally with Kaido.
What was the point ??

Overall the fight was underwhelming. Its nothing compared to Luffy vs Lucci.

Pretty good though some parts of it got repetitive. I liked most of the action though I'm still mixed on G5 (overall, I like the form but it's definitely weird). The ending was dragged out but it was nice as well. The cutting away from the fight also was kinda disappointing.

Maybe I'll change my mind after seeing the fight in the anime but right now I honestly didn't enjoy the fight.
Maybe the little moments when Luffy was in base and Kaido in hybrid. That was some good back n forth. I didn't like the awakening and even the Bound Man round that was interfered by the Cp0 felt like Kaido was going to win regardless.
Honestly feels like Oda got tired too and decided to just end the fight.

Peak fiction, 11/10, not only best Luffy fight ever but also best One Piece fight ever.
My favorite parts are basically all of it, but if I have to point one, I can't. If I have to point some, then it is when Luffy was falling down to sea, and we get real consequences of Kaido rampaging (Yamao getting her head hit real hard she doesn't spam I am Oden anymore). Then G5 fight which made me all nostalgic as if I am watching good old Tom and Jerry show in 2004 Sunday morning. Even the ending felt really like good old Tom and Jerry and I like it so much.

IT WAS DISAPPOINTING. I can understand luffy beating a yonko commander(which he barely could and only won because of plot armour/main character)but its too early for him to beat a freaking yonko like kaido.

Kaido showed no versatility with his fighting ability. Its like he was not even taking the fight seriously. It was that dam club and dragon form. Here are some wasted potential with kaido
1. No freaking awakening ( i am sure oda or a fan will argue one day he was “using his awakening” but we all know its a lie. Zoan type are suppose to have a unique awakening,look at nikka?!! )
2. Dragons can control the weather. I was hoping in his hybrid form he would use lightning and tornados!! I hoped.
3. Zero hand to hand combat. Why the dam club only!!! I know its like being a oni with a club or a swordsman with a sword but he could have showed other skills too!!
4. No ariel battle,both luffy and kaido can fly imagine kaido in his awakening form going after luffy in the air!!

I am also disappointed with the yonko commanders and topi roppa fights. I am glad robin got to shine though,people forget she was second to crocodile a warlord. She was unstopable in alabaska. She should be powerful imagine her with haki and awakening.

I think oda wants to finish one piece. Cause developing luffy into a “BELIEVABLE” level able to defeat a yonko would have taken longer.

G5 is okay but I still prefer if Luffy became symbolic Nika instead of the fruit actually being Nika.

The best part of their fight is when Mr. GO interfered.
