Character Discussion Thoughts on Sommers?

He's going to lock in so that we will get one final chapter of Zoro vs Sommers after Sanji vs Killingham finishes.
There is no way Oda offscreened the fight with Zoro not even using a named attack. Especially when we saw that Sommers(with Imu's gifts) has the ability to match Zoro's power. What I'm guessing will happen is much like how Imu caused a personality change in Harald and Shuri, he will do so to Sommers as well.
Since Gram is based off wrath, all Imu needs to do is just change sommers's personality to make him wrathful.
Sommers in of himself is a bum. But Imu can turn him into a powerful weapon.

Sommers was thematically build to be Sanji’sopponent
-He was using the power of love to hurt people
-He fought the big daddy of love in Gaban which is Sanji’s parallel in the Roger’s pirate
-He was the « Dragon » in Rayleigh/Shakki fairy tale
So the logical following was for him to fight and lose to Sanji. But Oda, once again, decide to subvert the expectations and made Sommers fight Zoro. Which could have been good if he kept his thematic about twisted love. It would have allow Oda to show a side of Zoro’s character that we don’t know. But unfortunately Sommers never ever talk about love in his fight against Zoro as if it was never a part of his character.
So yeah a big miss opportunity.
