I really don't see any problem in Toki. She was a very pretty and charming wife.

In terms of action, at least she made some children, so she's better than Nami and Robin as a woman.
It's simply not true that she didn't help on Oden's journey; There's much more than just fighting that you can do to help other people, such as providing warm hugs, smiles, and kind words.

She also did a good job at least in Hiyori's education.

Not to mention that it was with her power that Momonosuke and those 4 Akazaya were sent into the future. And the way how she died was very meaningful, inspiring people and causing terror on Orochi with her last words.

And who cares about the void century anyway? Everything that matters about what happened during the time has pretty much already been totally revealed in Robin's flashback and Doflamingo's explanation about the tenryuubito's.

Oda knows quite well how to write female characters, generally speaking;
Just in Yamato's case he seems to have dropped the ball.

Yes, duh, I expected her to reveal relevant void century information because she is from the void century. Why wouldn't we? Why create a character from the void century and not tell us anything about the void century? We are 25 years into this story with over 1000 chapters, you don't think it's time to reveal relevant info? Instead she was used solely as a baby making machine for Oden.

Very simple, she needs to tell us because she is from the void century and we are 25 years in this manga lol. If Oda didn't want her to divulge any information from the void century then don't make her from the void century. We don't need that plot line of her "just telling us Wano is important" since we already knew way back in Zou that Wano is important and we already knew way back in Fishman Island that Luffy is tied to Joy Boy and we also have Zunesha for that too to tell us about Joy Boy.

Toki didn't provide any new information regarding Wano. She didn't serve her purpose at all. How is her making babies serving her purpose? Dude we didn't even connect Joyboy to Wano until recently, let's not act like it was a sure thing. Toki going to Wano from the past heavily hinted at that and basically confirmed it in the flashback

The journal? Easy. To inform Momo and Yamato and catch them up to speed to the One Piece lore.

I rather wait 5 more years than to learn stuff prematurely. The Void Century is a laugh tale topic, leave it at that. It will make the reveal a lot more satisfying

Do you ever feel that this girl comes from the fu*ing WORLD END? I never feel like that about her...
