Just as the title says, what are your top 3 Naruto arcs?

This is really difficult.

I think Land of Waves, Chunin Exam and SRA along with the Pein arc and the Itachi arc take it for me. Those are 5, duh, but if I really had to, I'd probably go with the first 3.

YOU CAN VOTE FOR 3 OPTIONS IN THE POLL.

Your thoughts?

Chunin Exams were a classic. Gaara vs. Rock Lee is one of the fights I remember well. Naruto vs. Neji was one of those things that helped shape Neji’s character. …

Sasuke Recovery Mission. I assume this is the arc where Naruto fought Sasuke for the first time, right? Back when Sasuke was relying on his curse mark for power. The fight was great, emotional and it changed the series from then on.

Pain‘s Assault is probably the most famous arc in Naruto Shippuden. Jiraya’s death was tragic and you’d think that Pain would be one of those character you’d hate forever but Nagato‘s backstory changed my opinion of him. He’s one of those characters who suffered a lot, similar to Itachi. :parkcry:

I have to have the Pain Arc somewhere in my top 3.

After that, I'd say it's between a few others for the remaining 2 spots:
-Chunin Exams
-Tsunade Arc
-Sasuke Retrieval
-That entire sequence of mini arcs that included the Search for Itachi/Sasuke, Jiraiya vs. Pain, and Sasuke vs. Itachi. I kinda count it as one big thing

Honorable mentions to 5 Kage Summit & Naruto training to control Kyuubi Chakra.

EDIT: Wait wtf I forgot about Hidan and Kakuzu??? Fuck. Too many to choose.

Shows how much more I love Naruto compared to One Piece now :josad:

Chunin Exams - Good pacing and introduced so many characters that I loved.
Pain's Assault - Such a great villain and it truly felt like there was no way to win against him, plus Pain's villain pov makes sense. Really cool visually and a real page-turner.
Sasuke Recovery - Nice to see the abilities of the kids from the chunin exams being used all out. Sasuke's development, drunk Lee, Naruto's resolve and failure and new resolve--chef kiss

(Honorable mentions: Prologue Land of Waves, Tale of Jiraiya, Kakashi Gaiden)

Damn this is hard. I really like the character driven arcs so this may change but I have:
  1. Fated Battle Between Brothers Arc:
    1. I really like Itachi's whole backstory and how Tobi was the one to narrate it. The fight between Sasuke and Itachi was one of my fav in Naruto.
  2. Tale of Jiraiya the Gallant Arc/Pain arc:
    1. They are technically different arcs but it's hard to separate the two since they both are so connected.
  3. Five Kage Summit Arc:
    1. I don't know why but I just really like this arc. I liked how Sasuke went full evil and crashed the summit and seeing all the different Kages in one room.
Honorable mentions:
  1. Kazekage Rescue Mission:
    1. Granny Chiyo is one of my favorite characters in Naruto so this arc is one of my favs.
  2. Chunin Exams and Sasuke retrieval arc.

I've never known the answer to this since some of those arcs felt more like a single fight rather than a traditional arc. But the peak stretch of Naruto for me is when it was essentially Sasuke shippuden, starting from Sasuke "killing" Orochimaru - Sasuke vs Danzo.

Naruto finally showed out in the Pain arc after a whole lot of nothing, Sasuke saved the series (Sasuke vs Orochimaru, Deidara, Itachi, Killer Bee, Danzo, an insane stretch of fights from him).

Top 3 big arcs
Pain invasion
Sasuke retrieval
Hidan/Kakuzu
