Arie Hon in one of SIU's blog claimed that if fully released his blade has the capacity to pierce through half the tower.

IIRC, that was with Eduan's spear, not with Hon's sword. Also, I heard that it was implied to be a joke. I don't expect it to happen, but damn I would certainly not mind if it did

Am I the only one that doesn’t enjoy the fight. It is clearly obvious that the author favors gusting even though they are meant to be equal.

I agree SIU's shown Gustang to be more in control generally, but Traumerei has also managed to catch him off-guard and deal strong blows (just in the previous chapter, he ripped off his arm). Technically, Gustang has taken more physical damage while Traum more emotional damage lmao.

Not to mention, we know for sure that Traumerei divided his power a lot, while it's still not fully confirmed Gustang did this, or to such extreme degree at least. That might be another reason.

I miss reading those blog posts after every chapter. I have a Google doc someone made back in the day during season 2. Is SIU still doing them?

Not anymore. He stopped doing so after the latest hiatus (just after the Nest IIRC).

That is absurd, they (Zahard and FHs) haven't even been able to explore the whole tower let alone cutting it in half, he is delusional
