- Tragic past. And crazy/big guts since childhood.
- They both started their journey in a bad guy group mafia and Doffy gang.
- Both were "betrayed" by those groups : drug dealing for Bruno and Cora murder for Law.
- Both stayed in that group while trying to change it from inside and take down the leader.
- Both are quite smart and leaders. But not prime leader material. They both allied with the MC.
- Both have hax powers. And abilities that play on body parts, sticking things or cut things but without insta killing. Their powers do look alike.

Law easily wins in a fight. Bruno is the far better character.

Law wins. Higher AP,Speed and range. Bucciarati is a close combat fighter,Law can easily outrange him.

But if it comes to the characters themself,Bucciarati is the better character.

I like Law more tbh. His story with Cora was one of the most heartwarming stories in the entire series. Though Bruno is a lot more heroic in general and his noble sacrifice was just badass.

I can't believe I didn't notice how similar they are before, I am ashamed....

Bruno is absolutely goated and I can definitely see the influences with Law now, I really do wonder if Oda could have based Law on him?

This is a very surprising and enlightening comparison and thus revelation for me, thank you for this!

I was already a big fan of Law but this has given me an even more new-found appreciation for him as Bruno is one of my fave Jojo characters too!

Need to see and hear Law saying Arrivederci now!

I think they would definitely get along and be kindred spirits, depending on their circumstances. Might be an awkward, hostile meeting at first but they will become close allies and even actual buddies over time.

Both Bruno and Law are fantastically written and designed characters.

I'll say Law solely based on spending more time following his Journey.

Who has the best design ?
Bruno. Not many dudes can pull off the open chest all white suit

Who has the best story ?

Again, really tough to pick. Bruno's oath to take down the drug culture that ruined his life. And Law's resolve to uncover the truth of his cursed name. I'll go with Law. Bruno's story, as poignant as it was, lacked the emotional beats delivered by Corazon's presence in his childhood.

Who has the best powers ?

Law has a better power. Bruno's is used more creatively. JoJo is a straight battle manga, so Araki got to extensively experiment with sticky finger. OP's fights are more plot based, so Law's ability isn't as explored as it would be in a straight battle manga.

They would definitely be friends. As a doctor, Law would definitely help Bruno's anti-drug efforts. Imagine how valuable his OP-OP would be. I still think removing the drug residuals from the Punk Hazard childrens' blood stream is one of the most hax feats in One Piece.

Bruno. As much as I love Law. He's a pirate. Bruno, albeit posing as a gangster, is written to be a virtuous and righteous agent of change. My worldview aligns way more with Bruno's lol

I think Law's medical expertise + Broken powers would achieve Bruno's goals faster than Bruno would Law's.

• The connection between Law and Bruno is they're both Shonen anime crime lords who had an unfortunate backstory that led to them joining a group (The Donquixote Pirates Passione) and possess powers that allow them to manipulate space and people's bodies (the Op-Op fruit and Sticky Fingers). Both have heart-shaped tattoos on their chests. Both fought their former Pink Bosses who hide their indentity Joker/Doppio to overthrow them and succeeded in the end (Donquixote Doflamingo and Diavolo) and became the leaders of their own group (The Heart Pirates and Team Buccellati).

They would get along really well. Like you said they are very similar characters.
They both have a Golden Heart at their core. 😉

Bucciarati, I like him more and he has better leadership and plans than Law.

This is close but i am giving the edge to Bucciarati. Both of them would do a great job.
