Yep we know he went there before Amazon lily didn't appear in his flashback so he must have went as a revolutionary and he wouldn't go there unless there's a connection between dragon and tritoma

I think there is a very high chance she was involved in the GV incident, teaming up with the Rocks or Roger pirates to save Shakky.

If so, there’s a decent chance she really is Luffy’s mom. As Oda could use GV to have her meet Dragon for the first time. With the series wrapping up and GV being a nexus for the stories of numerous different characters, feel like Luffy’s origin being tied to the incident via his parents’ first meeting makes sense.

Dragon and Tritoma meeting on God Valley works on a lot of levels.

I also believe Kuma is a hero of the Kuja, who saved Shakky and Gloriosa using his Fruit.

Dragon and Kuma both being loved by the Kuja would be cool, to me.

God Valley being where Luffy's parents met is very thematic, I like it. Nice thread.

I can 100% seeing Roger just picking Tritoma up on his back, and going, "Hey... Tritoma, once we rescue Shakky, make sure to tell her how cool and helpful I was, alright?!"

Tritoma: "Oh, Heavens! Even at a time like this, you men are so simple minded! Fine... if you save Shakuyaku-sama, I'll tell her you're a real hero, and gas you up! NOW FIND HER, ALREADY!"

Forget about learning who Luffy's mom is. Oda is not even showing Shanks's mom face because it is irrelevant. Oda treats woman as simple baby makers. Objects.

Didn't Tritoma die of love sickness or something? I.e. she couldn't accept her feelings and be open about them?

If she had a child with a man she loved (and despite all his faults, Dragon doesn't give rapist vibes, especially on GV), she would probably had a different death.

Tritoma making top spot right now because there is revolutionary connection related to Kuma sending luffy to Amazon Lily .

Its interesting Oda choose to keep her in dark . Its like she is not part of any important timeline like God Valley or part of Luffy’s journey .

In fact during her death , Shanks meet Luffy around the same time as well . I assume before Luffy stayed with Garp ue was with his mum and she had to give away fir some reason .

Also Luffy has no clue or nostalgia of being in Amazon lily so his mother never raised him. It points out Garp raised him along with Ace since birth ?

Oda can change all this and luffys mother is still alive and is helping her husband and hiding in plain sight to avoid detection .
