Why would Law sacrifice his life for Luffy to live ?
For Bepo maybe, but Luffy? No way

Oda had no reason to introduce the lifet timespan reducing effects of G2/Ivankov's power if he hadnt planned for Luffy to be in Roger's position one day : fully knowing he's about to die very soon

Yes I'm aware he will be in Roger's position, so I was trying to see if Law giving off his life in that case would fit.

But who knows, I think that Law possesses a noble soul deeply inside, he already saved Luffy's life once, of course he wasn't giving his own to do the job.

It will wholly depend on which kind of relationship the two will have instaurated by EoS in my opinion.

Luffy won't really be sick though, he'll just die very young because G2/Ivankov's power took away a considerable amount of his lifespan

It doesn't tickle my mind much either. But who knows perhaps the series will just end there will be nothing like it happened with Dragon Ball after the events of GT.

Took 12 years to come down to Super afterwards.
