Remember this is only my oppinion, on how i think how the manga and anime showed this just like in the video. There’s just some things that manga wont be able to show while the anime shows it but since its part of the real one then it means its part of the manga also.
i think the time luffy was training on wano he didnt actually mastered how to flow haki. The only time he actually mastered it and realize how to do it correctly was at the time he saw kinemon and the others hurt by kaido!
this is also the similar thing that happen when hyogoro was teaching luffy how to flow it. Remember that part when hyogoro trying to encourage luffy not to forget that feeling!?
when luffy saw tkinemon and the others at that state he realize that feeling that hyogoro was talking about, at the same time luffy remembers momonuske, kinemon and the others and everyone else.and roots was flowing around his face. Simply the video was showing what is luffy’s fighting for and thats is for his friends.
in the video it showed how he actually mastered how to do it, without making any mistake just like when he was on training on wano how to do it,on a form of the roots flowing in his face it showed that he mastered it.
why this is important? Because without this or if luffy didnt master this he wont be able to flow his kings haki into his arnament without this…
