If I were to metagamed, one of the current permanent-seat holders are probably Mafia, if all 3 Mafia hold the seats they win. What I'm not too clear on is if if there is only one Mafia alive, and they get on the permanent seats, do they just auto-win?

My understanding was that Mafia has to fill all 5 Permanent Seats to win. Game may start out with 3 mafia but they can increase their membership (members nominated to the Permament Seat by the mafia that is elected is automatically converted to Mafia, kinda like a politician that got bribed). I could be wromg though

New elected members alignment will be decided by the faction who have nominated them. If candidate from town faction get elected , then the elected candidate will be town. If Candidate whom Mafia had nominated get elected , they will be mafia.

So in other words we should probably not be opening up elections to the permanent seats too often. Question is - if town nominate Mafia and they get in, does the Mafiosi convert to Town? Probably not.

Yeah. I thought this was a conversion, too. Basically if the Mafia candidate gets elected, they turn Mafia. If nominated by Town, they remain Town.

That's the point, Mafia has to get all Tue seats in order to win.

But yeah, we have conversions to deal with, so that's gonna be rough.

Tbh we should decide on players who shall never get nominated by Town. This way, if they get nominated regardless we know it's Maf's doing.
