A lot of people (mostly young men) on the internet to discuss anime and manga saying these “edgy” takes lately is fine, entitled to your opinion, but damn ethically it’s pretty eyeroll. Corazon disappear for years. Get brainwashed by marine propaganda. Comeback to his brother doffy then snitched on him the whole time. Doffy accept his brother to his group years later cause yeah blood brother until he found out he snitched and betrayed him the whole time so he kill him. Nothing wrong with that. Doflamingo only try to kill someone that try to snitched on him like violet and corazon.

Agreed completely. I’ve always held that opinion. Doffy cared a lot more than the other way round (we see it in their childhood flashback too). Twisted as he may be. He accepted him back no questions asked and Cora lied the entire time, not even bothering to talk to him. Doffy was def not happy about what he did.

But narrative framing is a powerful device and would make some believe Cora was an angel. I also never liked Cora’s implication about being born with a bad nature. Their respective upbringing played a huge role in shaping their worldviews.

Yes. I agree. Doflamingo is more celestial cause he is older than corazon. So he exposed to many thing in marijoa than his brother.

Doflamingo also get brainwashed by his commander too especially trebol that led him to kill his father. Not so different to corazon and his marine brainwashing. Both are the same. Their upbringing is what shape them.
