Zoro aint fighting Burgess fuck that shit. To me 2nd strongest is Shiryu, or at best the 10th recruit. Unless Burgess gains an ability for himself and a second ability for his weapon he wont be the 2nd strongest with a single ability alone.

If none of the BBP got the diamond fruit or any fruit when they crushed the WBP they wont get any df from the WBP anymore.

Zoro has already shown his ability to cut steel and Kaidos scales. He will surely cut sea stone which is as tough as Diamond but I think that will occur when Luffy gets kidnapped/arrested and needs to be rescued. He also has CoC and Ryou. It makes sense to fight a top class swordsman. Especially if awakened Shiryu can make "his presence" invisible, a perfect counter against Clairvoyant Hawkeyes Mihawk who by name should be best CoO-user in the verse (along Aisa, Enel, Fujitora, Katakuri, Rayleigh, Shyarly).

Sanji on the other hand has shown against CoA Vergo and the PH steel door that he lacks the ability to destroy hard materials, what better than defeating a Diamond man?

I don't see much ground for Sanji to end up facing Shiryu realistically. Zoro v Shiryu is too important unless Oda went full crazy and made Burgess stronger. Also swordsmen fights are what Zoro usually roll with. They are 2 badasses also thirsty for battle although their personality complexively different.

What's the difference between cutting diamond and cutting iron/steel? Nothing but diamond is harder.
Only that, behind the scenes it's the same shit, that is cutting a material that is very hard to cut.

So basically I think that Zoro needs a new challenge from a qualitative perspective. Cutting diamond and cutting iron/steel are the same thing from a qualitative perspective, they only differ from a quantitative point of view.

And also keep in mind that Zoro has already cut Kaido who is no less (or at least not that much) than a diamond.

What is Shiryu when he uses his DF power? He's invisible hence Nothing.

Breath of all Things could be the very peak of CoA and CoO, as we know that it allows you to cut even the hardest material, but also to sense inanimate objects as well. Zoro said that he knew that the rocks wouldn't fall on him because he sensed their breaths.
