General & Others Up until Wano, Luffy has never worked on his base phsyical strength since eating his Devil Fruit

This doesn't make any sense unless you think 7years old Luffy had the muscles to push appart two buildings, carry a huge mast, or break a big ass sword with his fingers while it is being carried by a freaking fishman...and these are just a few feats from east blue and paradise... @Rmstorm
You are ignoring what I said, obviously Luffy at 17 is stronger than he was at age 7.

Nobody has the same strength as when they were a kid.

I did not need to workout to be stronger than my 7 year old self at age 17. The strength came naturally from genetics and body maturing.

Luffy is was relying on his natural strength given to him by his genetics until wano.

You have a problem

What sort of bullshit is this lol.If you didn't exercise (because that's what you are saying Luffy practically did) for 10 years , you would be incapable of moving.

You get what I mean, now you are just trolling, he did work on his endurance , devil fruit control and durability, fighting Ace, Sabo and animals in the forests on Dawn island

However, he never worked on his physical strength.

No I don't get what you mean because if Luffy was incapable of growing when it comes to muscles , he wouldn't have the strength to do many things he has done so far , starting from the fact that he can walk.

But you said that his muscles didn't grow since he got his df so it made me wonder how was he able to do what he did with his tiny muscles...

His natural muscles grew with age naturally. However, he has never worked out like Zoro until Wano.

Answer this question below
1) How can he grow his muscles when he is rubber permanently and cannot turn off his devil fruit like every other person in the verse?

This is why he created Gears. If he could get stronger normally without seastone, he would workout like Zoro.

His devil fruit is a curse to be honest.

Lol not really a curse though it allows him to be highly resistant or even invulnerable to blunt attacks

But his muscles does grow more than just thanks to his age.
I don't know if you know anything about fighting sports but if you train at fighting, you'll get stronger and gain muscles. That's luffy's training. He trained by fighting (animals, his brothers, his grandpa, his enemies, Rayleigh, etc...), by doing that he gets stronger in all departments (strength, speed, reflexes, cardio, durability, haki...).

The whole time he has been coasting on his Natural Genetics and Devil Fruit control.

Due to being rubber permanently Luffy could not get stronger by Lifting weights like all other people in the One Piece world could. His whole lIfe age 7-10 since eating his devil fruit was spent on perfecting his devil fruit control.

During the timeskip, he spent majority of his time on mastering the basics of all 3 haki, and fusing Haki with his devil fruit.

As the Gomu Gomu no Mi is the hardest Devil Fruit to use in the world of One Piece.

Luffy uses take 3x the energy of a regular person just by existing. Moving takes even more energy.

Siince he his devil fruitt has been effect has been weakened suing seastone cuffs , it allowed his body to behave as the normal human body does

In Udon Prison he has been working out using seastone cuffs.

For the first time in his life, Luffy actually worked on his base physical strength.

This is the first time he would be able to break some muscle tissue encouraging his muscles to grow from training them, which would be probably way harder, or perhaps impossible to do any other way, when his muscles are made of rubber.

Muscles more or less grow stronger as fibers strain and break down through exertion, bolstered by the body’s production of greater muscle mass in response upon recuperating.

In Luffy’s case, his rubber abilities get in the way of this natural strengthening process as they allow his muscles to stretch without consequence.

By working out without his powers picking up the slack so to speak, his body is allowed to naturally respond to his increased physical demands and compensate accordingly. And with his powers at play he can basically overexert his now-greater muscle mass beyond a normal person’s ability to do so without fear of tearing.
In one part I agree with you in other I don't, the thing is is that in order for your muscle grow you need damage them by straching them to their limits and after that the muscle will adapt and become bigger which is hard to do when your body is made of rubber but not impossible. Luffy has been getting stronger and bigger after a hard fight but if he wasn't made out of rubber he would olredy be bigger than Garp.
