I know one piece is not meant to be realistic, but usopps plant attacks are completely nonsensical even by one piece standards. His attacks are completely illogical and don’t make any sense as plant powers.
For example, one of his plants just turns into a wolf, the wolf runs on the air, and then the nose of the wolf releases a shockwave…how TF does any of that relate to plants whatsoever? Is there a shockwave releasing, airwalking, animal forming plant i don't know about? Oda can literally asspull any power and just say it's a plant. Usopp could shoot a plant that turns into a dragon and shoot lightning, call it “lightning dragon plant” as long as it's colored green then it’s fine. Then he has a plant “skullgrass” which is just a straight up bomb, flowers that just turn in to blinding fireworks, and then a plant that just turns in to multiple exploding pinecones….none of this crap has any inspiration from plants, the plants are just the aesthetic
Then after he does an attack like that, oda pretends that it counts as usopp's strength. There was an avalanche under water and usopp shoots a plant which turned in to a massive array of seaweed which stopped all the rocks from falling. Literally all he had to do is shoot the thing in the general direction of the avalanche and the plant expanded itself to catch all the rocks, then usopp says “ive become so much stronger during the timeskip”, when it has nothing to do with usopp its just the magic plant doing its own thing.
“But usopp had to aim the plant!” Usopps plant attacks take 0 skill to aim and anyone else would be able to aim them too. In fact his plants do the aiming themselves. His “green star humandrake” makes plant roots that automatically jump towards the enemy. His plant wolf runs towards the enemy. His venus fly trap goes and eats the enemy itself. His rock eating plant shoots rocks itself. And then his other attacks like “bamboo javelin” have such big aoe that all he has to do is shoot it at the ground and the whole floor is covered. Literally all usopp has to do is shoot his nonsense plants in the general direction of where the enemy is
The whole thing with usopp is that he is a normal human with no powers but can get by with skill and strategy, but oda has completely ruined that vibe with these nonsense plants. Usopp feels more like a magician, that is still weak anyway
