The convention is for you to claim first, that way you can’t as easily weasel your way out with a lie.

For example, if he learned you visited one of the dead last night and says “I know Kiku visted [insert name of dead] last night” you can now lie and say you visited them with something harmless.

If you answer first, and his result contradicts what you have to say, then you’re caught. If he answers first, you now have more information to come up with a plausible explanation.

Pero said he used an ability that proves Ultra isn’t hostile.

They are probably both town. And Ultra of the two, is the most likely town.

And even if Ultra weren’t Town, what motivation would he have for this?

Its my only ability that isn't passive or oneshot, and I don't get to choose who gets redirected to so honestly I'm not sure how to use it safely to begin with

the reason I chose Pero is because they mentioned masons and I figured it would be like a night recruitment thing, so I thought it'd be funny if they got someone they weren't expecting. Thats all

Tbh, i wouldn't say that. Him vouching for Ultra is cool, but other than that he was just complaining that nothing is happening and didn't do anything by himself. If I had redirection, he'd be up there in group of people i'd consider.

Fwiw Pero is doing all those things, but Pero does those things as Town often.

I think they way he handled the Ultra thing and the claim itself is Town leaning. If he was wrong, and Ultra was a hostile indie (and he’d have had no way to know if he’s scum) or Ultra was mafia if Pero was a hostile indie, then an Ultra death at any point hard outs him.

Only problem i had with Ultra is him having same ability as Cal, but it could be easily explained. If i knew for sure there's scum among 2 id rather guess Pero. Kobe was doing the same thing with Reborn last game.

The difference here, as far as I’m aware, is that Pero hinted he’d die if Ultra was hostile ahead of time.
