Vegapunks not being able to reprogram the Seraphims authority hierarchy?

As you all know, when Vegapunk was ally with World Government, they programmed the Seraphims to obey orders from Gorosei - Vegapunk - Sentomaru - Authority Chip owners in order.

It makes sense that Gorosei, just in case, forced Vegapunk to put themselves on the top of that Pacifista authority hierarchy list if they ever have to fight with Vegapunk in the future. So far this is natural.

But right now, Vegapunks (stella and satellites) got the control of the Seraphims.

Considering the Vegapunks are also in their laboratory, Vegapunks should be able to reset or reprogram the Seraphims easily, and put themselves at the top of the Authority hierarchy list.

I think Oda needs to explain this, why the ''genius'' Vegapunks can't do a simple reprogramming, otherwise it's basically a plot hole.

You know what's a real plothole?

How Stussy couldn't override Lucci's order because they are the same rank
But somehow Lucci was able to override Sentomaru's order even though Sentomaru ranked higher than him

This also raises the question- will Edison be the only Vegapunk able to control Seraphim? Because if not, it will again contradict the Stussy/Lucci "same rank" shit

The whole thing is really contrived and dumb. Ida knows that anymore time chilling on Eggland will spoil the plot of one piece. Thats why we are in a battle already. The Vegapunks could have easily sent a broadcast to the Seraphim to slaughter CP0 without using Sentomaru. Heck why didnt Stussy take command right away instead of letting Lucci slice up Sentomaru.

Why are you guys making it more confusing then it already is? Sentomaru has the higher the higher authority level with the seraphim than cp0,so Lucci put him out of commission so the seraphim would respond to anyone who is the owner of the authority chip, stussy can't override the first order that was given because she holds the same level of authority as Lucci. It's not that complicated.

Since they are technically cyborgs, it's possible that to reprogram them is to open them up like a surgery. And it's also possible that someone from WG side has the ability to check their programming aside from VP. This way they can make sure that the codes are right and the Gorosei really has the highest authority.

I imagine programming them means putting them into machines and hooking their brains up to a control panel. Not something you can do on the fly.

The wiki has a image of it happening to Kuma, on his page, if that helps.

The Seraphims aren't robots. They are clones. They can't just be reprogrammed. It's no different than the Vinsmokes and Judge erasing their emotions. The order hierarchy is most likely embedded in their Lineage Factor.
