Luck aint a thing here, Zoro used 2 valid reason (yeah the ace thing was kind bad explain but it matter for Luffy do understand the situation). The result is exactly what Zoro predicted, first Luffy G5 drowwback would have made the situation especially for the other strawhat beside Zoro impossible, second Vivi escaped from the situation (So Zoro trust was actually stronger in her than all the rest)

Zoro was just trying to be cautious. Nothing wrong with that.

Yes Zoro did trusted Vivi for escaping on her own but the rest was worrying about her safety. Doesn't mean that they aren't also trust her.

This scene:

Zoro didn't mean to bring ace death he said till he need help im fact this is more a critic to luffy's character since he trusted ace in the past but hé didn't trust vivi luffy hasn't grow up yet
