Not really, he also warned against Big Mom, and things did get complicated in Wano because of her. If it weren't for Kid's unexpected involvement. The alliance would've been wiped out.
If they'd left well enough alone at Zoro's suggestion, Sanji would have been killed at the Wedding. The same fate could have befallen Vivi. It was a coin toss in both scenarios. He got one wrong, and one right.

With the amount of information he had, his reasoning was sound. If Zoro knew Sanji would get killed, we all know he would support Luffy's decision even if it means a fight with Big Mom.
Zoro is right all along, Vivi is safe...I agree with this thread...no wonder he is vice captain....
No wonder Luffy is the captain because his dangerous decisions are always turns out right because at the end of the day they succesfully rescue islands and crew is always safe.....
Vice captain Zoro fans may trashtalk captain Luffy at times but when necessary they never forget to wank captain Luffy directly or indirectly....thanks fellow vice captain zoro fans for supporting captain Luffy directly or indirectly....

Luffy already picked a fight with Big Mom on Fishman Island with Zoro standing right there. That alone right there should tell him there is a possibility that it might not end well for one of their crewmates getting hauled off to her Island.

Zoro was going off of the information he had and taught Sanji through away the crew for marriage. After they heard the story Luffy read his emotions and knew Zoro wanted Sanji back.

BM wasn't batshit crazy about Luffy until WCI. BM seen plenty of rookies who challenge her. She got mad because they wrote she lost to him and blow up her island.
Is funny to see how some people didn't understood Zoro's sentence wich was linked to chapter 490
This scene:
Zoro didn't mean to bring ace death he said till he need help im fact this is more a critic to luffy's character since he trusted ace in the past but hé didn't trust vivi luffy hasn't grow up yet
OL show me they have 0 reading comprehension really
Nah zoro is a coward who fears to take tough decisions. Sanji went to WCI alone and Luffy went to MF alone as well. While zoro even with whole crew is afraid of going to Marie Joe. Please don't make excuses for cowards. Plus it doesn't change the fact that zoro bring ace to the argument was one of most stupid takes in the entire series which doesn't make any sense. There is a reason why straw hats doesn't have a VC. Luffy is the only true captain while others are just his lackeys
Its called Advance Observation Haki
But his point is correct. They have to act only when they know its time to act(like they know Vivi has been captured and will get executed) and not act for every little thing...especially when they knew jack shit.

What he meant was Ace was in trouble but they needed to act only when he was in deep shit for sure..like getting executed....its not about the results but about when to act.
Would've been perfect if he left the whole Ace thing out of the topic. Really bad example.
Point being. The logic of not acting on emotion and going in search of Vivi was the right thing to do. Since they have zero leads to anything, plus attacking Marine HQ head on is an easy way to get stomped and killed. But leave the Ace example out of the way lol

The ace example was perfect since ace him self did exactly what zoro told luffy not to do since luffy stated in the past it didn't make sense him doing so.
Ace.did not listen to his captain and thus put his captains fate and the entire crew on the line
Luffy as stated by zoro decided to help ace once he found out that ace really really severely needed his help (which was what zoro said should be the only reason to go out and assist in the first place which luffy mentioned and agreed to).
Or Ace trauma makes him think differently and his VC had to remind him of his ideals. Zoro is their to help stare Luffy when he falls. Zoro just gave good advice that is align with Luffy core. Also Zoro knows Vivi is resourceful and seen her Will when she wanted to cut her leg to escape woth him.

Ayo and people still think that he brought ace to traumatize his captain show you again their reading comprehension and their toxicity like always since that scene wasn't the point of that and zoro said till ace needed help that was in impel down since luffy in 490 was trusting him also I remembered when zoro says that vivi is strong and OL like always misunderstood that and thought he was talking about he is roger kaido in powerlevel or some shit like that when he was saying that vivi is strong enough to figure it out the situation she was able to sneaked in crocodile's organization ffs
Japanese fandom praise zoro for this and crítice luffy since he hasn't grow up yet and they compared zoro scene with beck beckman in chapter 2 when the bandit kidnap luffy Shanks starts to panic and beckman says "chill out captain don't panic"

No, that wouldn't prove anything. If Big Mom wants to kill Sanji, she wouldn't allow him to marry her own child in the first place. They're already given an explanation of how Big Mom makes political alliances via marriages. So as far as they know, Sanji's gonna become a family member of Big Mom, which completely removes any threat to Sanji.
Taking Sanji from the wedding is what would make her go after them because they not only picked a fight with her but also took her daughter's partner. Luffy made a dumb choice, but it ended up being the right choice due to circumstances.

I don't see what this is supposed to prove? Zoro threw Luffy's own words/actions back at him. How does that make him VC? Now we're scaling comforting words???
Good god, can characters do ANYTHING anymore without it scaled as a competition?
