Is this racist or practical?

I haven’t voted in a while so i can’t remember if we even need to show IDs so far. If I recall correctly I just go to the nearest voting area, say my name and they let me vote.

In the states i've lived in you provide your ID for registration. Once you're in the system you don't need an ID.

Ok, I'm not from the US but Vote ID should be mandatory.
The idea that minorities are too dumb to get a ID is racist as fuck. Only a stupid retard would believe that. Specially because every working adult should have one, even if just to drive around.
The only purpose of not asking for ID is to allow fraud to happen. Using racism as a excuse is disgusting.

It is crazy to think any democracy would let people vote without at least an ID.

Here in Brazil we have ID and Voting ID. You need to do your voting ID so you know where you can vote but you have to only bring your ID.

Voter ID definately needs to be mandatory . I just don’t like how democrats justify people are not affordable to have one because of odd reason it just brings doubt in the voting system .
