General & Others Warlords and Admirals are easily the two best groups in One Piece

Law: I think Oda is in a hard place with Law. His relationship with Doflamingo was great. But since that is over, not convinced that Oda has found much of an interesting place for him.
isn't kinda obvious Law is now the one designated to the D stuff. His flashback was about the CD v D stuff and his goal is to learn about it.

Don't insult the Warlords. Admirals do not even belong in the same breath as them.

The Warlords have been and will continue to be the absolute best written One Piece characters. They hold more significance in the story than the vast majority of the Straw Hat crew. If it weren't for the Warlords, One Piece would have died 10 years ago.

Admirals were just DPS checks, and since we know Luffy can wipe any of them they don't even have strength importance anymore. They've been overtaken in a single arc by the Gorosei.

I think it was indeed said that they were planned to be the original final villains or something like that, but that doesn't really correlate to the thread's topic anyway.
Im mocking the fact that agenda dumbos picked up one of millions ideas Oda had and never pursued beyond the idea stage trying to spin off a narrative of it

Its relevant as in if you look at which characters Oda planned a long time to write character writing for it's definitely not them. While the admirals clearly are, so much so they have even a connective tissue between them that is well written while we get some absolute goofy stuff between the likes of kaido and bigmom.

Same applies to other characters and dynamics, transparently so infact

People need to pay attention what happens in the story recently and writing wise not theorize stuff from data books, that are often false translated to boot.

It's honestly a projection. Not being able to change your mind on stuff so you think Oda is the same.

It is true tho, he did say that, but he found a way to milk the living shit out of the story for 1000+ chapters and still going
No, he said he a initial idea about Luffy going against the Yonkos as the main story, not even a mention or a sketch of single character.

Yeah but that’s not an interesting or unique thing to do with him.

Finding out what D means has always just been a part of Robin’s dream, well before Law was even thought of. Law’s not getting to Laugh Tale, so he’s not going to accomplish it himself.

Of the D’s, Luffy, Blackbeard and Vivi are more important going into the finale as Imu’s targets and in Luffy and Blackbeard’s case, just in general throughout the series (depending on what happens with Vivi, she may also end up in that bracket to a lessee extent than the other two).

Dragon, you would imagine, will also be more important than Law since he has done nothing so far in the series and that is surely because he‘s being saved until the end.

Plus with Cobra’s last words, Luffy and Vivi (Vivi more so than Luffy, given their respective personalities) are also going to be actively looking to find out what the D is, so Law’s already not very special dream is further reduced.

Yeah, but just like Pluton and the other ancient weapons have been a part of Robin's dream, Franky is the one tied to that story.

Just because he was created later doesn't mean he can't be inserted, he fit in perfectly into Doffy's story.

The thing is Luffy definitely doesn't care, and that probably means blackbeard doesn't either. Not once has Blackbeard mentioned his middle name like Law.

Vivi is a good point. She could be the one to hold that mantle instead of Law if she goes to Laugh Tale, tho I'm pretty sure Oda will find a way to sneak Law in there.

Dragon, you would imagine, will also be more important than Law since he has done nothing so far in the series and that is surely because he‘s being saved until the end.
Bruh I don't know how you can have any hope in Dragon after all the Sabo stuff. At this point I expect him to be Akainu's or Imu's hype tool.

Yeah Vivi might be that character, but I think in terms of importance Oda probably had Law higher in the totem pole.
