Idk about canceled but it definitely wouldn't last nearly as long, manga's these days tend to rush to the ending that they sacrifice key character development and skip major plot devices most manga these days don't last more than 5 years tops with my hero being one of the few outliers clocking in at right around 10 years .

it definitly won't meet everyones expectations, it's impossible to please everyone but i think the general consensus will be that it's a good ending. I personally want it to end in a world government victory and for imu to rule anothr 1000 years

The baratie arc was actually pretty good. Before that arc the show was kinda ass. Remember Baratie is the show where we really start getting a glimpse of the wider one piece world. It's where Grand Line as concept was explored. The 1st warlord is also introduced and at the end of that arc the whole concept warlords was properly introduced and explained on the way to Arlong park. Overall a pretty good arc.
