I am seeing a lot of Translations call him a Vice Admiral even though last time we saw him he was a Rear Admiral

Is this a mistranslation or was he really promoted in the Time Between Reverie and Egghead?

Jokes aside, if T-Bone was at the Reverie, he may have gained a promotion during the events. He may appear in the flashback (hopefully) starting next chapter.

That line at the top says Navy HQ Vice Admiral (中将)

I remember at FullMetal Alchemist when that guy from Military dies they promotes him.

Maybe was the same case here. He was promoted to Vice Admiral to honor his death in service.

I have to say that I wouldn't promote a guy that was killed by a fodder. That guy from FullMetal Alchemist at least died by one of the top villains.
