And here is proof. As you can see in robin flashback of fishmen flashback, both kizaru and aokiji had their fruits 12+ years ago. Akainu was shown, but he attacked with the cannon balls of his ship the other ship, not his lava powers

Akainu marked luffy with X shaped scar. and since this is a PIRATE manga, you mark with X on treasure map the treasure location. as in the gomu no was the fruit promised to akainu, his treasure, so he can eat it, train and take down whitebeard with it, the weakness of gura no mi is the rubber fruit. but shanks stole it and you know what happened then.

fujitora only got his fruit recently and he is same age as akainu. oda fully shown the powers of kizaru and aokiji ever since the flashback, why didn't he tease lava

I think if this DF is so important they probably wanted Im to possess it, not necessarily eat it since we don't know.

I hope we don't get a huge retcon, like we had nobody saying shit about Luffy having the gomu gomu until now (like at the very least "he also has that cursed df" or something like this) despite Enies lobby, Impel down, Marineford, his new status of pseudo yonko, when one mentioned he is the nephew of Garp and son of Dragon etc. and now suddenly Oda will pop out of the blue Joy Boy or Roger or Xebec or whoever had this DF. actually Xebec and Joy Boy ould also be understandable since nobody bar a few know about it (yet maybe the gorosei talking about Luffy could have mentioned at least a vague sentence to hype things up before we had 1000 freaking chapters).

yes cause Fujitora wasn't that important and not as good as Logia Trio ... just next strongest solder cause they needed more admirals

Kizaru , Kuzan and Akainu were training by Garp and Sengoku to be next Admirals

and WG never knew which one should be next FA ... so it only makes sense if all of them use top Logia around same age

We gotta have to wait to see gomu's awaken abilities to understand it's true potential. But i don't expect it to be much, really like Luffy hitting the enemy, the enemy then thrown into things that got turned into rubber and so sending the enemy back to Luffy kinda things.
