artwork doesnt matter, I like massively bright flashing auras covering it anyways. The animation was garbage before they put in the effort to make it as epileptic as possible

The fighting gifs are cool and everything but the way Queen moves gives off the impression that his muscles are full of oatmeal and being sloshed around lol.

but there was that scene prior to Onigashima, where Luffy + Lidd + Law met up and used attacks

i thought that was perfect fluidity if you can find/remember it

As long as the animation is consistent, I couldn't care less about how art style looks like.

Artwork is good but without consistent animation/fluidity, it's basically a trainwreck.

The pain fight is still one of the best animated in that series history.

I think that for action Fluidity is more important every time, but most of the time, One Piece balances out artwork and fluidity very well.

For example, that Queen clip by Akihiro Ota has some of the best Queen drawings in the entire series.

And generally, Akihiro Ota's artwork is fantastic.

Fluidity by far. Artwork for static scenes like when characters are just standing around and talking but for anything else, need that movement

It depends completely on the scene. Fluidity in a scene where its just people talking is weird, and over detail with lack of fluidity in scenes of high speed movement would feel stiff. Its like trying comparing a knife to a saw, they both cut but are clearly meant to be used in different scenarios
