I told some friends the song is talking about an older sister, but I think it really sums up what a mother is feeling most of the time trying to keep everything balanced and going.

Absolutely! I got immense mother vibes from it, older sisters may have to take on that role ofc but it definitely feels like a mothers anthem, especially single mothers to or just any mothers in difficult marriages/relationships or and having difficulties in anyway with their kids, bills or whatever?
