What are you currently reading?

Started reading Atomic Habits and a Year in Provence recently
And yes, I still haven't finished Good Omens and Getting the Love you want, it's just that I have a bad habit of reading a few books simultaneously since I started reading manga, preciously I would limit myself to 1-2 books at a time πŸ€ͺ

Edit: does reading a core rulebook for Blades in the Dark TTRPG count? That's also on my list :)

Been really loving Stormlight Archives. Just read Way of Kings and Words of Radiance, currently starting Edgedancer.

I’d definitely recommend. These books are tbh like anime in literary form.

"Klara and the Sun" by Kazuo Ishiguro
I really want to get to this

I love Ishiguro’s work. Remains of the Day and Never Let Me Go are some of my favorite books.

Ooh, what do you like about them? I enjoyed reading Mistborn trilogy (and I'm still raving about its metal-based magic system), and now I am thinking of picking up Sanderson's top work (as he grades himself).

Like I said, it does feel like a very high quality Shonen translated to literary form.

you have shard blades, which are magic weapons that tbh reminded me of the swords from bleach.

You also have surge bindings, which are like a combination of DFs and haki. Honestly done better than either of the two.

One of the fights was literally a DBZ style battle with two characters flying in the air

Re-reading Borrasca, it's an amazing horror/thriller story which is well worth the time invested in it.

Any of you want to read some horror stories I wrote? :pepebusi:

Dasavatara - it's about Lord Vishnu's ten avatars in Hindu mythology.

After that I'm planning on rereading the Mahabharata - I have an abridged version.

I also plan to reread a book called Squash, about a girl trying to win a pumpkin growing contest. It was fun and oddly motivating the first time I read.

Then there's a bunch of others - PG Wodehouse collections, a few Star Wars Legends novels, a book about decision making called Nudge, another on drawing...assuming I can tone down my screeen addiction that is πŸ˜‘

Phew, finished Good Omens at last and got into The Stranger Times series, read all 4 books on a week or so, if you like urban fantasy and Pratchett's admirers writing, you might check it out.
The 5th book should come out this year, hopefully, it will tie up the loose ends, as for now the 4th book kinda ends on a cliffhanger note.
