Character Discussion What are you thoughts on Dragons character after Egghead

Monkey D dragon,World worst criminal is sounding like he really is the worst at being a criminal.Theres so much hype around him we know he’s going around islands and liberating some but what is the point of his character if Godffy (Luffy) is going to be the ultimate liberator freeing all the slaves and for the first time in history ending slavery once and for all.His lack of doing anything doesn’t help him either dragons going to have something absolutely fucking ridiculous like soloing half the gods knights along with Garling and shamrock for his character to be useful imo he just only now Is he setting the holy land on fire(it’s probably sabo not dragon lmao) and it’s not even confirmed it’s him yet.We have seen literally Imus and joyboys haki before we have seen a glimpse of dragons arsenal this dude has to be either a complete fucking monster that the world government won’t be prepared for or he’s gonna be just a sweating peice of garbage. As much as I dislike his uselessness him being a overpowered character seems to be more likely that not

People need to understand something, Dragon & Mihawk are basically Non-Introduced Characters, and Oda never needed them in any Arc,
They are completely reserved for the very near End, it's just that Oda wanted to draw Zoro vs Mihawk + Dragon Saving Luffy,

And since He wanted his Story to start like that, then He ended up forced to show Dragon & Mihawk from time to time, but aside from that They are clearly treated as Non-Introduced Characters, and Oda doesn't want you to think about them until their Time comes, just like all these New Faces We are meeting in Final Saga such as Garling & Loki & Shamrock & Xebec & Imu ... etc

Dragon & Mihawk are as Useless as Unknown Characters, you should instead wait till We finally reach an Arc where They are one of it's Main Cast & then We will judge if They are truly living up to their Positions,

Imu has been foreshadowed since page 1 of one peice

Dragon is just the good guy version of Sir Crocodile, he slowly turned the people of many different countries against Imu through a civil war and undermining his power. He doesnt actually need to fight anyone to do anything

Also, Luffy has no goal of ending slavery permanently on earth, or anything like that, nor does Luffy have any vision for a more ethical future government system

Complete indifference he hasn't had enough characterization to judge him one way or the other

That Dragon is not one of Oda's favorite characters.

Oda made Dragon declare war and hyping the Revos by summoning the leaders, only for the no.2 to be the one to execute the move.
Then we have a country calling Sabo the Flame Emperor when it should've been Dragon they are celebrating.

Oda is treating Dragon as if he is Mihawk.
Mihawk is understandable since he simple has no motivation aside waiting for Zoro's growth.
Dragon should've been making moves and collecting Ws here and there, every now and then.

Would've been better if it's just in a news that Dragon had a W somewhere and the Holy Knights have failed to stopped him again. This would've made Dragon more relevant while also hinting a strong group of Celestial Dragons being the Holy Knights. Dragon should've been playing the Shanks role but around the Globe.

This is going to end up either Dragon being too OP or him dying on a Revo focused arc.

-> Whitebeard commanders + Warlords were sweating and shook over the reveal of Luffy being Dragon's son. Meaning he's taken renowned actions that establish him as a powerful entity. Coupled with Ivankov crediting Luffy doing wildly outrageous things to him being Dragon's son. We simply don't know about them, as Oda wants to maintain his mystery for now.
-> We're shown what triggered him into creating the Revolutionary Army, though not what triggered him into creating the freedom fighters.
-> We're shown that he thinks the Marines don't have "justice" among them.
-> We're shown that he coordinates his subordinates properly and effectively might I add.
-> We're shown that his commanders and underlings in general are highly loyal to him, even though fans think he's a bum for not saving Ginny (though we literally have 0 idea if he attempted something or didn't attempt something).
-> We're shown he had connections with important figures of recent history that were high level intellects, Dr.Vegapunk and Professor Clover.
-> We're shown he has no care for "spotlight" or "victory", it's all about getting the job done in liberating people. IE, Sabo gets widely renowned, he has 0 care of it. When RA subordinates start celebrating their victories he tells them it's nothing to be celebrating about.
-> He has deep affection for his son, and there's a deep longing in his heart to meet his son, but chooses to actively stay away and not interfere in his son's journey. Though his subordinates have provided constant help to his son.

As a commander:

-> Played both the Blackbeard Pirates and CP0 by abandoning Baltigo after Baltigo lost it's value (Baltigo's sole value was that it was undiscovered), and having the two fight each other.
-> Effectively raised armies across the 4 seas + Grandline, coordinating them effectively to the point numerous countries have accomplished in rebellions. I don't think people realize how much logistical hell this is, in a world where ships are you means of travel.
-> Effectively coordinated a successful attack on Mariejois.
-> Lord knows what other connections he has brewing behind the scenes, with other organizations or within the Marines themselves.

Y'all really gotta stop looking at characters from "feats" "Fighting" etc PoV. All of that shit is secondary to his actual role as the commander of a global army, that no other character outside of Kong and Akainu are doing, and they got way more help in their shit.

That Dragon is not one of Oda's favorite characters.
Literally the opposite. The two characters he mentions when asked who he would like to expand on if he had enough time, were Garp and Dragon.

I don’t care about characters who do nothing. I’ve been reading one piece for over 15 years and in all that time Dragin has done 0 things worthy of note

Man ate the East Fruit

I think Dragon will get info from spies in Blackbeard's Crew/the WG that Teach is moving for Pluton, and Dragon will move on Wano. Kamabakka Kingdom is just not a defensible island for the Revs at this point.
