Can you imagine Akainu for example having a seizure, crying, snotting and shaking because Shanks flexes his basic CoC from a continent away? I can't.
He makes the Admirals look terrible, idk why you pretend otherwise.

He meant that possibly in a future event when Shanks' pirates are hurt and tired, he'll probably take advantage and attack, that's just how admirals are.
- Kizaru needs a Vice Admiral using Kairoseki to gain advantage over Marco.
- Aokiji needs Jozu to be distracted.
- Kizaru only appears in Sabaody after all the SNS are injured and tired after fighting the pacifists.
- Akainu beat Ace momentarily due to the confrontation advantage (DF) and because Ace was so injured that Garp wondered if he was still alive.
- Jinbe, like Ace, was punished in Impel and was extremely tortured there, he fought all over Marineford, he was carrying Luffy in his arms (busy arms) when Akainu attacked him.
- Green Bull goes to the country of Wano attacks King and Queen nerfed (without sword and one of the wings, recovering from injuries, Queen without his mechanical arm) and trapped in cells.
- Green Bull attacks and confronts the wounded and exhausted scabbards...
- Akainu faces Whitebeard nerfed from all Haki types and sick and with a stab that pierced him from end to end...
- Kizaru faces old retired Rayleigh who ate whores and played catch...
- Garp is referenced as a hero for something he didn't do alone and is told as a lie to the world.
- Garp and Sengoku need 1v2 to beat Shiki in what appears to be above average difference, with Shiki calling them scum and unable to capture Roger.
- Sengoku can't even capture Doffy, even though he has a spy in Doffy's crew.
- Drake asks for reinforcements and helps the admirals but is answered by Coby stating that the navy was waiting for the end of the confrontation between Kaidou and Big Mom so that they could act, (hoping to catch the weakened Yonkous).
And the list just grows.
My dear, there is a consistency here, I don't pay lip service to this.
And you're also confused about something: wanting to do something doesn't always mean you can.
