Questions & Mysteries What did Greenbull mean by this..

Unlike Ace, Sabo is not reliant on his DF ability. Like Oda have said in some SBS I think, having superior df doesn't equate to win, so I assume that it will not be DF vs DF. And isn't that the whole plot of their fight, Akainu having superior DF means that Sabo would be the underdog. And Sabo has almost as much grudge to Akainu as Luffy.
Sabo has not "almost as much grudge" when compared to Luffy, nobody has more of a reason to shoot the fade with Sakazuki again more than Luffy does,
Akainu being the FA already has advHaki exlcuding CoC so Sabo is outclassed even here, to be an Admiral you have to have the requirements else you should resign from the post immediately.

I'd like to see that Sbs if you can find a source to it,

but yeah, if you give sabo reasons the same reasons applies to Luffy and it means much more with Luffy as he was actually present at the time with Akainu.

I do see Sabo fighting an Admiral like Fujitora again, but nah I don't see him fighting Akainu at all, Dragon would even make more sense.

No proof of that. Even his Awakening is an assumption. And even if he has AdvHaki, there is no proof that it will be superior than of Sabo's. And also, I don't think Sabo would solo him, I think someone would help him but not one from SHP.

Sabo has as much grudge though depending on someone's perpective. Luffy was there and did everything he could to save Ace while Sabo wasn't able to do anything and was too late to realize that he was his brother.

right so who has more of the reason here

hmm...

Sabo who wasn't there, just regained his memory and found out Ace was killed being childhood brother

Luffy who was actually there, went through hell just to free Ace, after freeing Ace he's witness his hardwork going down the drain in front of his eyes, being a victim to a scar given by Akainu, will being completely broken only to be saved by Jinbei
I mean Luffy needed an whole army (WBP) to ensure his existence from the terminator

it's like this

Person 1: "Sorry bro I couldn't be there to help, I wish I was"

Person 2: "Nah it's cool bro, I was there to help but I still couldn't save him.."

keep in mind person 2 was left with a reminder on his chest (scar)

Like I said it depends on someone perspective. Sometimes its better to have tried and fail than couldn't try and still fail.

Oda: "DF superiority doesn't tell you about the outcome of a fight" - Sabo vs Akainu is the only instance to prove that statement. Obviously, prime Sabo will be much stronger than Ace before his death. He already is known the emperor of flames, will probably awaken his fruit.

Also, Luffy has no grudge. He accepted that Ace died as a pirate and remembered his friends he wants to be strong for. With Shanks also saying that it's ok to cry, but at some point a man should look forward.

Sabo vs Akainu hence feels more logical narratively speaking. Sabo inherited Ace' power and will and is now Luffy's recurred Brother who will stand up for him and defend him. While Joyboy certainly has more important things to do than fighting the outer face of the WG, which is "worth less than zero" according to the Gorosei.
None of the excuses for Sabo will ever work when any sort of reasoning works a hundred times better for Luffy.

Sabo potentially having awakening doesn’t change much when the same applies for Akainu who has the superior fruit. That would just bring things right back to square one.

Luffy certainly has a grudge. Just hearing his brother’s killer’s name starts the large prominent scar on his chest aching. Even when his greatest pirate rival’s name didn’t bother him in the same context.
More importantly, Akainu himself has a grudge with Luffy. It’s the only mutual conflict in the series that’s this long lasting. When both Luffy & Sabo were in Dressrosa, Akainu couldn’t care less about Sabo while his focus was on Luffy and he even banned an Admiral from any Naval base until he brought Luffy and Law’s heads for him.

Luffy’s greatest failure, the main reason for the time skip was failing to save his brother due to his weakness. The obvious resolution to that is being strong enough to now do so and not have loved ones dying in front of him.
Having someone else do it for him defeats the point of the narrative.
On the opposite end, Luffy becoming Pirate King will be Akainu’s greatest failure as the Fleet Admiral. The men at the top of the Pirate and marine worlds, opposites in every shape and form… it’s a no brainer.

It’s storytelling 101. The antagonist that kills the person dearest in the world to the protagonist is going to get their comeuppance at his/her hands. It’s simply the maximum conflict and emotion that can be pulled from a story.
I find it odd in itself for someone to even want anything less.

I do think that Akainu will confront Luffy, ending up with a clash and short fight, until Sabo steps in and tells Joyboy to "move forward", as he will handle Akainu, just as Ace stood between Luffy and Akainu, sacrificing himself in the process, albeit this time, when Sabo will repeat Ace' interference, he will not go down but succeed.
Yeah this is will happen most likely. Especially if WG are final villains of the series.

Nothing much but just a lame excuse to escape with some dignity as he is the first top tier of the series who was losing himself over a burst of normal CoC from miles away.

Kaido's presence kept him away from the Wano while Shanks CoC that came miles away from the Wano made him taking the exit just after entering the Wano.

Sabo defeating Akainu would just be bad writing, magma proved superior overall to flame so why all of a sudden flame reigns superior? I mean the guy is just a dupe of Ace while Luffy actually has a deep grudge

Dragon would be a better fit against Akainu than sabo does, being the number 1 of his army parrallels to Sakazuki's Fleet Admiral rank, back in MF Sakazuki cursing dragons name and wanting to get rid of Luffy who's solely related to dragon by blood/dna

Sakazuki wanted to get rid of Luffy because of his relation with Dragon

but yeah, there are many reasons, it's fine to believe Sabo will be the one to sqaure off but I just don't see him winning at all, that role goes to Luffy.

doesn't make sense Akainu who's got top tier portrayal in the matter of panels he's been in just to be taken out by sabo who holds an inferior Devil Fruit as well

Having an inferior DF doesn't mean you will lose
